BATAVIA — A city man was charged Nov. 28 with third-degree sex abuse.
James W. Cason, 67, subjected a person to unwanted sexual contact, police said. He was to appear Dec. 8 in City Court.
BATAVIA — A homeless man has been taken into custody on three separate warrants, city police said. Demetrius W. Richardson, 41, was wanted for four counts each of first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and petit larceny. He was committed to Genesee County Jail without bail and is to appear Dec. 21 in City Court.
BATAVIA — Jeannine M. Mobley has been charged after investigation of a petit larceny complaint, city police said.
Mobley, 46, of Le Roy was charged after a Sept. 26 complaint on Jackson Street, police said. She is to appear Dec. 21 in City Court.

Julie R. Richardson, 31, was charged Nov. 19 with fourth-degree grand larceny after stealing a credit card from a vehicle parked at a business, police said. She was charged two days later with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
Richardson was committed to Genesee County Jail without bail. She was to appear in City Court.
BATAVIA — A traffic stop on Nov. 21 resulted in charges against an Erie County man, city police said.
Christopher P. Robinson, 24, of Amherst was charged with DWI, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, police said. He was to appear Nov. 30 in City Court.
BATAVIA — An Erie County woman is facing a felony charge after violating an order of protection, city police said.
Shyanna M. Williams, 19, of Hamburg contacted a person numerous times by text message over the course of several days, police said. She was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree criminal contempt.
She is to appear today in City Court.
BATAVIA — Colleen A. Wisniewski was charged Nov. 26 after she was caught shoplifting, city police said.
Wisniewski, 28, of Middlebury was charged with petit larceny. She is to appear today in City Court.

Charles R. Brown, 47, violated an order of protection, police said. He was to appear Dec. 6 in City Court.
ATTICA — Hayley C. Hopkins was charged Saturday after an accident on Exchange Street Road, state police said.
Hopkins, 26, was charged with DWI, troopers said. She is to appear in Town Court at a later date.
STAFFORD — A Batavia man was charged Friday after a traffic stop on Clinton Street Road, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.
Willie A. Sabb Jr., 48, of State Street was found to possess cocaine, deputies said. He was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and is to appear Jan. 13 in Town Court.
LE ROY — A town man was charged Thursday after he was caught with drugs during a probation home visit, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.
Parker R. Davis, 29, of East Main Road was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He is to appear Dec. 22 in Town Court.
BATAVIA — Jada I. Smith was charged Dec. 3 after investigation of an incident a person trespassing at Genesee Community College, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.
Smith, 21, of Niagara Falls was found on the property after being told to stay away, deputies said. She was charged with second-degree criminal trespassing and is to appear Jan. 5 in Town Court.
LE ROY — A village man was charged Nov. 28 with driving while ability impaired by drugs, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.
Deputies said they encountered Kevin W. Howard, 23, of Lake Street while conducting a property check at Kwik Fill, deputies said. He is to appear Dec. 17 in Town Court.
LE ROY — A Wayne County man was charged Wednesday in connection with an August incident, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.
Michael J. Fazio, age unavailable, of Waldorth used a stolen credit card to purchase items at Kwik Fill, deputies said. He was ordered held without bail.
Fazio is currently being held at Wayne County Jail on unrelated charges.
PEMBROKE — David J. Conrad was charged Nov. 23 with second-degree criminal contempt, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies said.
Conrad, 34, of West Ivy Street, Rochester, violated an order of protection, deputies said. He is to appear in Pembroke Town Court at a later date.
ALABAMA — An Erie County man was charged Dec. 3 after investigation of a vehicle parked roadside.
Joseph P. Gerwitz, 24, of Central Avenue in Lancaster was found unresponsive at the wheel, deputies said. He had allegedly hit a road sign and was found to be intoxicated.
Gerwitz was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI and moving from lane unsafely. He is to appear today in Town Court.
BENNINGTON — A town woman was charged Dec. 7 with DWI, state police said.
Brooke F. Howe, 37, was involved in an accident on Church Road, troopers said. Further investigation allegedly revealed she was intoxicated.

PAVILION — A Perry woman was charged Dec. 3 after a theft complaint, state police said.
Shawna L. Lamont, 33, took merchandise valued at $19.45 from a business without paying, troopers said. She is to appear in Pavilion Town Court at a later date.
RIDGEWAY — A traffic stop on Dec. 2 resulted in charges against a town man, state police said.
Stephen R. Smith, 48, was stopped on Route 31, troopers said. Further investigation allegedly revealed he was intoxicated and his blood alcohol content was 0.20 percent.
Smith is to appear in Town Court at a later date.
